Fix your WiFi properly: wired beats extenders
If your WiFi drops in the back bedroom or the garden office, plug-in extenders are usually a sticking plaster — they halve throughput and hand off badly. The reliable fix is wired access points fed by Cat6 data cabling back to your router or a small switch, giving strong, seamless coverage in every room and out into the garden. For larger detached Billericay homes and anyone working from home on the Liverpool Street commute, this is the single biggest upgrade to day-to-day reliability. We run the cabling, terminate it neatly (a patch panel where it makes sense) and configure the network so devices roam without dropping.
Smart lighting, heating and switches
